Thank you for being willing to foster an animal!

Short term fosters enable us to rescue more animals from the shelters. It is necessary to keep the foster animals in an area away from your family pets at the beginning to protect your own pets, unless the rescue has already been vetted.

Please note that you must be over the age of 18 to be considered to foster one of our rescues.​

Thank you for agreeing to be a foster parent for Interstate Partners for Animal Welfare (IPAW). Please check the box next to each statement after reading it. Note that checking the box will serve as initials until a scanned copy with signed initials can be obtained.

Intentionally harmful or negligent care can include not providing access to adequate food, water, shelter, and/or medical treatment; not providing the animal with conditions that are sanitary; maintaining, caging or tethering the animal(s) for an extended period of time, or in inhumane conditions or in insufficient space; beating or taunting the animal(s); acting in a way that might lead the animal(s) to develop or manifest aggressive behavior, or failing to take appropriate action to prevent aggressive behavior.

  • Canines must be immunized against Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Hepatitis, Bordetella, and Rabies. They must also be free of parasites.

  • Felines must be immunized against Feline Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Feline Leukemia, and Rabies. They must also be free of parasites.
